Marshall Philharmonic Orchestra to host Sunday concert

The Marshall Philharmonic Orchestra will proudly “march on” into its seventh decade on Sunday, Oct. 29, featuring woodwind artists, Kimberly Foley and Steve Litwiller.

This admission-free concert will begin at 2:30 p.m. in the Harold L. Lickey Auditorium of Bueker Middle School. The concert will open with “Crown Imperial,” a coronation march, by Sir William Walton and will also include works by Mendelssohn, Bizet, Mozart, and selections from the beloved musical, “Les Misérables.”

Marshall has the distinction of being one of the smallest towns nationwide with a full symphony orchestra.
