Liberty Park will close at 3 p.m. Friday for Sedalia Parks and Recreation staff to prepare for its Trunk or Treat event.
There will be no entry into the park from 3 to 5 p.m. Any cars in the park at 3 p.m. will be asked to move. The park will reopen at 5 p.m. for the Trunk or Treat event. The Trunk or Treat is a drive-thru at Liberty Park where participants stay in their vehicle while candy is passed out. Participants are asked to watch for entry and exit signs. Admission for the event is free and the event is from 5 to 7 p.m.
