Area artists and photographers are invited to submit entries for the Mid-Missouri Artists 40th Fine Arts Show, which will be open free of charge to the public from 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 18, and from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Sept. 19 in the Warrensburg Community Center Gymnasium area, 445 E. Gay St.
The show is open to all media and artists 16 years of age or older.
Monetary awards and ribbons will be awarded in professional, amateur and photography divisions. A People’s Choice Award provides an opportunity for persons who view the show to select their favorite work of art.
Completed entry forms are due by Monday, Sept. 13. Late entries will be accepted with an additional $5 fee and will not be listed in the show program.
Entry forms, with all details, are available in Warrensburg at Rudy’s Frame Shop, 122 W. Pine St.; Trails Regional Library, 432 N. Holden St; and the Warrensburg Community Center, 445 E. Gay St.
Those entering the show are asked to remember that works must be appropriate for family viewing.
