Brian and Sherry Nulsen, of Smithton, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on July 15.
Sherry Scott and Brian Nulsen were married July 15, 1983, at the We’ve Only Just Begun Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Mr. Nulsen worked at Gardner Denver in Sedalia for 43 years.
Mrs. Nulsen owned and operated Nulsen’s Daycare for 20 years, as well as working at Smithton R-VI School District as an instructional aide in the Special Education Department for 23 years. She retired in 2020.
The couple have four children Rodney Edwards, of Nixa, Brandon Nulsen, of southern Missouri, Brianna (Paul) McKee, of Sedalia, and Lt. Ryan (Beth) Nulsen, of Spring, Texas; and nine grandchildren.
