Pettis County added 97 confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 2,081, according to the Pettis County Health Center.
Wednesday’s report included numbers from Tuesday and Wednesday. There are now 665 active cases and 1,388 residents have been released to normal activity. Twenty county residents are hospitalized seeking treatment for the COVID-19 virus.
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported a seven-day total of 17,137 cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday or an average of 2,448 per day. There were a total of 88 deaths attributed to COVID-19 in Missouri during the last seven days, representing an average of 13 deaths per day.
