Pettis County added 157 confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Friday, bringing the total number of cases to 2,660, according to the Pettis County Health Center. The numbers include data from Nov. 11-13.
There are now 930 active cases and 1,670 residents have been released to normal activity. Seventeen residents are hospitalized seeking treatment for the COVID-19 virus.
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported a seven-day total of 26,228 cases on Friday or an average of 3,747 per day. There were a total of 66 deaths attributed to COVID-19 in Missouri during the last seven days, representing an average of nine deaths per day.
