Pettis County added 76 confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, bringing the total number of cases to 4,402, according to the Pettis County Health Center. There was not a report on Wednesday.
There are now 400 active cases and 3,936 residents have been released to normal activity. Ten residents are now hospitalized seeking treatment for the virus.
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported a seven-day total of 17,270 cases on Thursday or an average of 2,467 per day. There were a total of 70 deaths attributed to COVID-19 in Missouri during the last seven days, representing an average of 10 deaths per day.
