This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Nov. 25

4:12 a.m.: Luis A. Polito Seba, 36, of the 900 block of East Seventh Street, was arrested after being observed pulling off the side of the road without signaling and running up on the curb. An officer made contact and found Seba was intoxicated and had a suspended driving status. He refused to exit the vehicle, resulting in the use of force. He refused to provide a breath sample, so with a search warrant for a blood draw, he was transported to the Pettis County Jail and booked on a charge of driving while intoxicated - alcohol, driving with a suspended/revoked driver's license, and misdemeanor resisting arrest. 

Nov. 28

2:25 p.m.: Amber A. Reed, 35, of the 30000 block of Ball Road, was arrested after being stopped near the intersection of West Second Street and South Missouri Avenue for speeding. Reed's Missouri driving privileges had been suspended and she was issued a municipal summons. 

Nov. 29

10:23 a.m.: Seth Andrew Farr, 30, of the 100 block of East 11th Street, was arrested after officers were dispatched to a home in the 100 block of East 10th Street for a report of trespassing. The suspect seen in the yard of the residence was arrested for trespassing twice in the past week. He was placed on another 24-hour hold pending charges of stalking, harassment, and trespassing. 

Incidents

Nov. 22

10:29 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of South Limit Avenue for a call regarding threats of a shooting. Officers set up a perimeter and were able to make contact with the suspect and detain him without incident. The suspect was taken into custody and charges were submitted to the state prosecutor. 

Nov. 28

11:05 a.m.: Officers responded to the 1800 block of South Ingram Avenue in reference to a theft. They made contact with two victims stating some items were stolen from their residence. A couple of suspects have been named, but no contact has been made at this time.

Nov. 30

12:50 a.m.: Christopher E. Williams, 48, of Hughesville, was arrested in Pettis County for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and released.
