This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Dec. 4

11:03 a.m.: Mitchell C. Cairer, 36, of Cole Camp, was arrested after officers responded to a business in the 3100 block of West Broadway Boulevard in reference to an assault that had just occurred. Officers were able to locate the suspect near the 3200 block and he was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending a charge of second-degree robbery.

Nov. 30

2:24 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to a business on North Limit Avenue for a forgery report. They collected evidence and a report was completed.

Dec. 5

9:05 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of East Fourth Street for a fraud report. Information was gathered from the reporting party and the report was completed.

11:16 a.m.: Officers responded to a business in the 3200 block of South Limit Avenue in reference to a bomb threat. An employee gave them the necessary information to generate a report.

8:04 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to Liberty Park in reference to an electrical box that had been knocked over by a vehicle. The vehicle had fled and the box was left damaged with exposed and cut wires. At the request of park management, a report was completed for documentation.

Dec. 6

4:06 a.m.: Officers responded to the 900 block of South Limit Avenue for the report of a burglary not in progress. The victim reported an unknown subject entered the unoccupied business and stole a cash register containing a small amount of currency.
