This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Dec. 6

6:42 p.m.: Robin A. Lawson, 49, of the 4200 block of West Main Street, was arrested after officers responded to a business in the 3100 block of West Broadway Boulevard for a disturbance. The reporting party said a physical disturbance was in progress and when officers arrived, Lawson was arrested as the primary aggressor. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending a request for charges of third-degree aggravated assault and second-degree property damage.

7:02 p.m.: Austin August Boatcher, 26, of the 1900 block of South Montgomery Avenue, was arrested after officers responded to the 1200 block of South Brown Avenue for a report of a domestic disturbance that had escalated into an intentional motor vehicle crash. The investigation determined that Boatcher drove across town and intentionally rammed the victim's vehicle. The victims fled the scene in an attempt to get to the police department for assistance. Boatcher was transported to the Pettis County Jail for second-degree assault and armed criminal action.

Incidents

Dec. 5

1:10 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of East 10th Street for a harassment report. Information was gathered from the reporting party and the report was completed.

Dec. 6

7:12 p.m.: Officers responded to Bothwell Regional Health Center regarding a report of a dog bite. They spoke with both parties and gathered the information necessary to generate a report.

Arrests

Dec. 6

9:40 p.m.: Kenneth McBean, of Oklahoma, was transported to the Pettis County Jail after deputies took a report from a Door Dasher who said a man was offering her money for sexual activities over the app. McBean was also making repeated orders stating he was ready to engage in sexual activity. Deputies made contact with him at a business in the 5600 block of South Limit Avenue and placed him under arrest. McBean was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending a charge of patronizing prostitution.

Arrests

Dec. 6

3:12 p.m.: Nathan A. Bryant, 42, of California, was arrested in Moniteau County for driving with a revoked license and speeding. He was transported to the Moniteau County Jail and released.

10:15 p.m.: Tavifa Yefremenko, 31, of Sedalia, was arrested in Saline County for driving while intoxicated. She was transported to the Saline County Jail and released.
