4:28 p.m.: Sarita Linda Leon, 62, of the 600 block of Washington Avenue, was arrested after officers were dispatched to the 800 block of West Third Street for a disturbance call. They arrived on scene and gathered information from the victim. Leon was located in the 600 block of West Third Street, arrested and released on scene with a citation for public peace disturbance.
9:35 a.m.: Shawna Christine Blackmore, 31, of the 1100 block of West Seventh Street, was arrested after officers were dispatched to a business in the 800 block of East Broadway Boulevard regarding a trespass. They made contact with Blackmore in the 1200 block of South Montgomery Avenue and also determined she was wanted for a theft that occurred at the same location. She was arrested and released with a city summons for shoplifting and issued a trespass notice.
8:27 p.m.: The Pettis County Sheriff's Office requested assistance from the Sedalia Police Department's K9 unit with a vehicle stop in the 1600 block of East Broadway Boulevard. K9 Rocky deployed for an open-air sniff of the violator's vehicle, which resulted in an alert. A probable cause search was conducted by the sheriff's office, which resulted in the discovery of items related to illegal drug activity.
11:09 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of West Broadway Boulevard for a report of a hit-and-run collision. They gathered pertinent information and a report was completed.
