Dec. 7

11:37 p.m.: Richard Anthony Curd, 61, of the 300 block of East 16th Street, was arrested after officers conducted a traffic stop near East 16th Street and South Washington Avenue. Curd was found to not have a license and was processed and released with a summons.

Incidents

Dec. 6

10:12 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to North Grand Avenue and William Parkhurst Drive in reference to a motor vehicle crash. A vehicle had been flipped onto its top. Both drivers and the second vehicle had left the area. No arrests were made.

Dec. 7

7:42 a.m.: An officer met a victim in the lobby of the police department in reference to a hit-and-run accident. The victim explained she was rear-ended by another vehicle near Broadway Boulevard and Thompson Avenue and the striking vehicle left without providing information. The victim’s vehicle had minor damage to the rear bumper. There is suspect information and the case remains under investigation.

3:39 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 3000 block of West Broadway Boulevard in reference to a drug offense. A bag of meth had been dropped inside a business and was seized for destruction.
