5:12 p.m.: Joshua J. Houston, 37, of the 600 block of South Grand Avenue, was arrested in the 100 block of South Grand Avenue for leaving the scene of a vehicle accident and driving with a suspended/revoked license. Officers responded to a non-injury accident where a vehicle crashed into a parked vehicle and the driver fled the scene. Both vehicles had heavy damage. The driver was later located and arrested.

2:57 p.m.: Nichole Sharee Bierschbach, 38, of Sedalia, was issued a municipal court summons in the 400 block of East Seventh Street for trespassing.

8:48 p.m.: Deputies initiated a vehicle stop on a motorcycle on U.S. Route 50 near state Route 127 in La Monte for excessive speeding and no headlight. The driver then fled on the motorcycle traveling east on U.S. 50 reaching speeds in excess of 130 mph. The driver then turned around and traveled westbound in the eastbound lanes before exiting the motorcycle in La Monte and fleeing on foot. The driver, Brandon Westpheling, of Otterville, was restrained by a citizen until deputies arrived. Westpheling was arrested for resisting arrest, driving with a suspended license, careless and imprudent driving, and other traffic violations.

8:09 p.m.: Bernard K. Kangogo, 40, of Overland Park, Kansas, was arrested in Pettis County for driving while intoxicated (prior offender), careless and imprudent driving, failure to maintain right half of roadway resulting in a crash and violation of ignition interlock device.
Jan. 21
4:56 p.m.: Christopher E. Spooner, 31, of Warsaw, was arrested in Benton County for felony possession of a controlled substance, felony unlawful use of a weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia.
