This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

June 6

1:27 a.m.: Troy Alvin Bishop Sr., 52, of the 900 block of West 20th Street, was arrested after a traffic stop for not displaying registration plates on South Ohio Avenue near East 17th Street. Bishop was intoxicated and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for a blood draw, then to the Pettis County Jail. A request for a charge of driving while intoxicated has been submitted to the prosecutor.

9:28 p.m.: Tatiana Lara Monroe, 24, of the 1200 block of Elm Hills Boulevard, was arrested after officers were dispatched to the intersection of West 19th Street and South Grand Avenue for an accident. They identified the driver, who they knew had a suspended license. Monroe was checked on scene by the Pettis County Ambulance District and then transported to Bothwell for further evaluation. She was then transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.

June 7

1:29 a.m.: Dana Lynne Bark, 53, of the 400 block of Second Street, was arrested after a traffic stop on South Engineer Avenue at East 12th Street on a vehicle being driven by a subject known have a suspended license. She was transported to the Sedalia Police Department, issued a uniform traffic ticket and released.

June 6

9:39 p.m.: Joshua D. Simpson, 36, of Kansas City, was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the Johnson County Jail and released.
