This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.
12:50 p.m.: An officer responded to a business in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard for a disturbance with weapons. All parties involved had left prior to police arrival, but an investigation found two subjects had assaulted a victim and threatened him with handguns and scissors. Two suspects were identified and charges are being requested against them for second-degree assault, armed criminal action, and unlawful use of a weapon.
8:24 p.m.: Officers took an assault report that occurred in the 2000 block of West Main Street. The victim said he was shoved by the suspect. Charges are being requested.
