Arrests

May 17

6:34 p.m.: Tyler Dean Wilbanks, 27, of Warrensburg, was arrested after Sedalia police were dispatched to Clover Dell Park on West 32nd Street for a disturbance. When they arrived, Wilbanks was being restrained on the ground by another subject. It was determined he had been running around the lake yelling at people that he was going to cause harm to them. At one point, Wilbanks attempted to assault the victim who defended himself before restraining the intoxicated man until police arrived. He was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for a fit of confinement then to the Pettis County Jail. Wilbanks was arrested for fourth-degree aggravated assault and second-degree terroristic threats.

Incidents

May 17

9:41 a.m.: Officers received a call from the 800 block of East Broadway Boulevard regarding a robbery that occurred in 1975.

11:56 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to a business in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard in reference to a hit-and-run accident. The owner returned to her vehicle and noticed damage to the rear end. The case is under investigation.
