This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Oct. 27

12:35 a.m.: Antonio Marcos Torres, 26, of the 600 block of North Quincy Avenue, was arrested after an officer observed an SUV failing to maintain the right half of the roadway on Thompson Boulevard. A traffic stop at West Main Street and Winchester Drive found the driver had a suspended license and was intoxicated. He was transported to the police department, issued traffic tickets for driving while intoxicated and driving while suspended, and was released.

1:48 a.m.: Gregory Wayne Keele, 40, of the 600 block of South State Fair Boulevard, was arrested after a traffic stop near West Broadway Boulevard and Thompson Boulevard after being observed making an improper turn and crossing lane dividers. Keele was intoxicated and was transported to the police department and then the Pettis County Jail for a fit of confinement pending a charge of driving while intoxicated - alcohol - prior offender.

Incidents

Oct. 31

1:52 a.m.: Officers responded to the 1100 block of South Harding Avenue in reference to a property damage report. The reporting party stated someone threw a rock through their living room window. No suspects have been identified.

Arrests

Oct. 30

5:45 p.m.: James B. Jones, 43, of Dixon, was arrested in Saline County for driving while intoxicated and speeding. He was transported to the Saline County Jail and released.

8:34 p.m.: Stephen S. Nicholson, 49, of Marshall, was arrested in Saline County for unlawful possession of a firearm. He was released.
