Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edward Sanders, of Sedalia, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary Jan. 30.
Carol Jean Sumner and Charles Edward Sanders were married on Jan. 30, 1971, at the Carrollton United Methodist Church in Carrollton. The couple are both retired.
They have two children, Grant Edward and Sara Elizabeth; and two grandchildren.
The couple celebrated earlier with a seven-day Christmas cruise of the Hawaiian Islands and a month-long stay on Oahu's Kailua Beach along with their children.
