Kirksville man injured in Lake of the Ozarks boat collision

A Kirksville man, 65, suffered moderate injuries at 6:21 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 1997 Tracker on the Lake of the Ozarks - Osage arm when he struck a 2008 Legend LE 21 piloted by a Seneca man, 40, after neither vessel took evasive action. 

The injured man was wearing a life preserver, and was transported to by Lake Ozark Fire to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach

Warsaw teen injured in Benton County collision

A Warsaw woman, 17, suffered  moderate injuries at 6:33 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, she was driving a 1997 GMC Sierra south on U.S. Highway 65 near Missouri Route 7 when she changed lanes and clipped a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado driven south by a Lincoln man, 19. She then ran off the left side of the roadway, impacted a MoDOT sign and overturned.

It is unknown if she was wearing a seat belt. She was transported by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.

Warsaw motorcyclist injured in Henry County crash

A Warsaw man, 62, suffered moderate injuries at 2:10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2024 Indian Challenger east on Route MM when he failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.

It is unknown if he was wearing a helmet. He was transported by Life Flight Eagle to Research Hospital in Kansas City.

Knob Noster woman hurt in Johnson County accident

A Knob Noster woman, 23, suffered minor injuries at 12:50 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, she was driving 2003 Pontiac Vibe east on U.S. Highway 50 when she ran off the left side of the roadway and struck the guardrail.

She was wearing a seat belt, and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Versailles boy seriously injured when tractor hits his bike

A Versailles boy, 7, suffered serious injuries at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5, in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a bicycle north on Mount Zion Road when he attempted to overtake a 2007 Case Maxim tractor being driven by a Versailles man, 15, north and was struck by the tractor’s towed unit. 

The injured boy was transported by MU Air to MU Hospital in Columbia.
