Sedalia motorcyclist injured in Johnson County accident
A Sedalia man, 30, suffered moderate injuries at 3:25 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was riding a 2025 Kawasaki north on NE 23 at NE 1125 when he attempted to pass a tractor trailer that was turning and went into the ditch.
He was wearing a helmet, and self-transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
Kingsville man hurt in Johnson County rollover
A Kingsville man, 23, suffered minor injuries at 5:40 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2002 Ford Focus hatchback east on 1656 Road, south of Missouri Route 58, when he failed to maintain the lane, traveled off the left side of the road and overturned.
He was not wearing a seat belt, and was transported by a private conveyance to the hospital.
Warrensburg motorcyclist hurt in Johnson County spill
A Warrensburg man, 36, suffered minor injuries at 7:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2024 Honda motorcycle east on Missouri Route DD at the Missouri Route 13 roundabout when he hit a wet spot in the roadway and overturned. He was wearing a helmet, and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri medical center in Warrensburg.
Three transported after Moniteau County collision
A Jefferson City girl, 15, suffered minor injuries, a Jefferson City girl, 16, suffered moderate injuries and a California woman, 64, suffered serious injuries at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, in a Moniteau County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report a 2020 Chevrolet GM 1515 driven south by the California man, attempted to cross eastbound U.S. Highway 50 onto Shooters Club Club Road and failed to yield to a 2022 Hyundai Elantra driven east by the California woman and was struck on the passenger side.
Everyone was wearing a seat belt, the injured were transported to Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City by Mid-Mo EMS. The California woman was transported to University of Missouri in Columbia by MU Air.
Two Sedalians injured in Pettis County crash
A Sedalia woman, 18, suffered moderate injuries and a Sedalia man, 20, suffered moderate injuries at 7:15 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, in a Pettis County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred when a 2011 Ford Escape driven by the woman South on lilac Road traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch.
She was not wearing a seat belt, he was. They were transported to Bothwell by Pettis County Ambulance District.
