Sedalia resident Jeffery Lloyd was recently awarded the prestigious America 250th Anniversary Silver Medal and Certificate by the Martin Warren Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR).
The honor recognizes his dedication to the nationwide initiative celebrating the upcoming 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.
The Martin Warren Chapter focuses on preserving the heritage of the American Revolution and promoting historical education throughout Johnson County. The group meets at the Johnson County Historical Society at 10:30 a.m. on the third Saturday of each month.
Exceptions include December, when the group meets on the second Saturday, and February, July, and August, when no meetings are held.
