State Fair Community College Digital Media Communications student Dawson Propst, of Stover, received a first-place award from the Missouri Broadcast Educators Association on April 1 at Southeast Missouri State University. Propst was recognized for a video he produced featuring Sedalia business No. 5 Bistro & Bar. He competed against students from two- and four-year institutions throughout Missouri.
