Student safety the concern as schools, first responders make crisis plans

Thursday, July 21, the Missouri School Board Association hosted a training session at Smith-Cotton High School. Police officers, fire department personnel, school resource officers and school administrators gathered to share notes and carefully hone plans to deal with any crisis a school might face, from bus accidents to campus shootings.
