The United Methodist Women (UMW) of First United Methodist Church is hosting a rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Thompson Site, 916 Thompson Blvd.
Proceeds go to support local mission projects such as Open Door, CASA, Habitat for Humanity to name a few, as well as mission projects of United Methodist Women and the United Methodist Church across the United States and around the world.
United Methodist Women is a 150-plus-year-old organization of women organized for mission, focusing on projects in support of women, youth, and children.
All women regardless of denomination affiliation are invited to participate in United Methodist Women.
