Trinity Pyrmont Lutheran Church will host its annual ice cream social at 5 p.m. Sunday, June 6. The event will be indoors in case of rain.
The church will serve sandwiches, hot dogs, chili dogs, pie, cake and ice cream for a freewill donation. Donations will go to Wanda Anderson, daughter of Myron Munsterman, a lifelong member of the Trinity congregation. For the past year, Anderson has been receiving treatments for breast cancer. She then developed a rare bone marrow cancer, MDS. She is currently being prepared for a bone marrow transplant.
Thrivent is supporting this event with a Thrivent Action Team. The Church is located at 2831 Pyrmont Rd., north of state Routes 135 and M junction, north of Stover.
