An additional fundraiser for Chevi Meyer, 5, of Green Ridge, who has stage four cancer, will be hosted by Bob Goalder and the U9 Bandits. The team will play a doubleheader at 6 and 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 4 at Liberty Park. The game will be played on the small field by the tennis courts.
The Bandits will donate $10 for every run they score that night to Chevi’s family to assist with the ongoing costs of medical care and treatments. The team would like to challenge other teams competing in the Big Game Baseball League to match their donations on May 4.
The team will also take donations from others who wish to help that night.
