United Way of Pettis County sixth annual Day of Action

Posted by CRiddle

The United Way of Pettis County’s Day of Action provides opportunities for individuals and groups to be part of solutions that make a real difference in people's lives. Join us and volunteer to fight for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in every community. This event is great day of service, creating a tremendous amount of community spirit and goodwill.

United Way of Pettis County is soliciting the community for volunteer projects and also recruiting volunteers from across the community to take part in this day.

Community Members: Do you have a project that you would like to have completed by a group of volunteers? Painting? Gardening? Smoke detector installation? Wheelchair ramp installation? Trim trees, rack, mow? Need some items hauled away or gutters cleaned? Please complete a Project Application form and return it to United Way of Pettis County by Aug. 31.

Community Organizations: Look around your office and your facility and see what kind of projects you’d like to have performed by a group of volunteers. Painting? Stuffing envelopes? Filing? Please complete a Project Application form and return it to United Way of Pettis County by Aug. 31.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: If you or your organization would like to form a volunteer team for the Day of Action, please complete and return the Team Application form by Sept. 15. If you are a community member seeking a great volunteer opportunity, complete a Team Application and we will find a team for you!
