Drought conditions throughout parts of central Missouri have severely limited cool-season grass production in pastures and hay fields. Seedheads have emerged on cool-season grasses, but undergrowth is thin in many places. Many producers are searching for hay or other forage sources to replenish depleted hay reserves.
