Mr. and Mrs. Larry Young, of Sedalia, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a renewal of vows and a dinner, hosted by their children, on Oct. 7 at the Community Hall in Otterville. Their vows were renewed by Deacon Arvol Bartock.
Sherry Morley and Larry Young were married Oct. 6, 1973, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sedalia, by Fr. Vincent Hoying.
Mr. Young is retired from Hayes Lemerz and Mrs. Young is retired from Washington Elementary School.
They have three children, Stephanie Dedrick, of Florence, Lawrence Young, of Liberty, and Matthew Young, of Kansas City; and nine grandchildren.
