WARRENSBURG — Earlier this month, the University of Central Missouri introduced two new exhibitions taking place at the UCM Art Center Gallery. “Empowered by Design,” an exhibition produced by Kansas State University Assistant Professor of Interior Architecture & Industrial Design Scott Barton, and “Second Nature,” which highlights the artistic processes of a Missouri sculptor, Gary Staab, both opened for viewing on Jan. 8 and are available until Feb. 1. more
WARRENSBURG – As the freezing temperatures continue to affect the city of Warrensburg, some students and staff from the University of Central Missouri will seek refuge in Des Moines, Iowa. Although the temperatures more than 200 miles north will remain similar to those on the UCM campus, UCM Theatre and Dance is happy to make the trip as it prepares to perform at the 2024 Region V Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) in Des Moines. more
