Sedalian hurt in Pettis County
A Sedalia man was injured in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday in Pettis County.
Danial J. Fitzgerald, 20, was southbound on Route U at 11:45 a.m. when he traveled off the right side of the roadway south of Covered Bridge Road, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report. He struck a fence and a tree, causing moderate injuries.
Fitzgerald was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. The Pettis County Ambulance District took him to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.
