Police Reports Sept. 11

This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Sept. 7

12:30 a.m.: Jacob C. Hylton, 29, of Warrensburg, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated. Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of East Seventh Street in reference to a vehicle accident. After investigating the incident, the officer determined the driver who struck a parked car was intoxicated and placed him under arrest.

10:20 p.m.: Jose L. Zaragoza, 18, of the 700 block of McVey Road, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended license. An officer stopped Zaragoza’s vehicle in the 2000 block of South Limit Avenue for not having headlights on. A computer check through dispatch showed his license was suspended.

11:50 p.m.: Matthew G. Green, 44, of the 2500 block of Bristol Lane, was arrested on a charge of driving with a revoked license. An officer stopped Green’s vehicle on South Washington Avenue near East 19th Street for expired registration. A computer check revealed his license was revoked.

Sept. 9

9:55 a.m.: Joseph L. Resinger, 32, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree tampering with the property of another. An officer observed a suspicious vehicle travel through the area of North Ohio Avenue and Ham Street. He approached an MFA truck parked nearby on Hogan Street that had been reported stolen from Shelbina. It appeared the occupants had fled from the vehicle. A short time later, officers located Resinger walking in the area and found he had been inside the stolen truck. After further investigation, they arrested him on drug and tampering charges. At the time of the report, officers hadn’t located the second suspect.

8:25 p.m.: Bradley A. Simons, 25, of the 1500 block of Crestview Drive, was arrested on charges of felony first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle, driving with a suspended license and failure to register annually with the Department of Revenue. Brian D. Carpenter, 43, and Emma M.A. Gillum, 22, both of the 27000 block of Route U, were arrested on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree tampering with the property of another. An officer stopped a vehicle in the area of South Washington Avenue and East 13th Street for improper registration. A computer check through dispatch showed the driver had a suspended license and a warrant. Dispatch also advised the truck was reported stolen from Kansas City. The officer arrested the driver and two passengers.

10:25 p.m.: Krystal N. Lindsay, 32, of the 700 block of East 10th Street, was arrested on a felony charge of resisting arrest. Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of East 10th Street for a warrant check. When they made contact with Lindsay, she reportedly attempted to flee from the residence. Officers apprehended her and placed her under arrest. They confirmed two warrants for her arrest from Laclede County.

Incidents

Sept. 8

2:15 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to the area of West 16th Street and South Grand Avenue. A Pettis County Sheriff’s Office deputy was with a person who wanted to make an assault report. The reporting person told the officer her boyfriend assaulted her.

11:35 a.m.: A subject called the police station to report two handguns stolen from his vehicle. The victim said someone stole the guns from his vehicle while it was parked on a roadway sometime between the day of the report and the beginning of August. The victim didn’t have any suspect information but was willing to assist with prosecution.

Sept. 9

1:55 p.m.: A complainant came to the police station and said a subject she knew broke out her car’s passenger-side window. She said she was in an argument with her boyfriend, who made several attempts to break the passenger-side window of her vehicle. The victim said he broke the window before she could leave the area and threw a glass soda bottle into her car. The shards of broken glass cut her arms in several places. The window will cost about $200 to repair. The victim was willing to assist with prosecution.

Arrests

Sept. 8

3:25 p.m.: Jessica L. Wallace, 36, of Camdenton, was arrested in Morgan County on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, not wearing a seat belt and failure to use headlights when windshield wipers were in use.

3:25 p.m.: Charles W. McDowell, 36, of Camdenton, was arrested in Morgan County on a charge of possession of marijuana. Troopers also served Morgan County felony warrants for a probation and parole violation, possession of amphetamine and failure to register as a sex offender.

3:50 p.m.: Terence C. Culler, 26, of Warrensburg, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in a crash.

10:40 p.m.: Ted D. Gentosi, 60, of Rocky Mount, was arrested in Morgan County on charges of careless and imprudent operation of a watercraft and boating while intoxicated.

Sept. 9

1:40 a.m.: Sandra M. Rocha, 44, of Kansas City, Kansas, was arrested in Benton County on charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.

2:50 a.m.: Andrew N. Tritsch, 22, of Lee’s Summit, was arrested in Morgan County on charges of boating while intoxicated and operating a vessel without navigation lights.

5:20 p.m.: Tos Santier, 18, of Warrensburg, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving while intoxicated, driving while revoked, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash, careless and imprudent driving resulting in an accident, and minor visibly intoxicated.

Sept. 10

12:40 a.m.: Abdullah R. Alrasheed, 33, of Warrensburg, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving while intoxicated, speeding and lane violation.
