9:54 a.m.: John D. Mansfield, 32, of the 1500 block of West Ninth Street, was arrested after an officer was dispatched to a business in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard in reference to shoplifting. Contact was made with two suspects and one was released. Mansfield was booked and released from the Pettis County Jail for shoplifting and failure to obey/resisting arrest.
