Two women in serious condition after Benton accident

Tammy J. Rash, 58, of Clever, sustained serious injuries, and Holly J. Eierman, 33, of Edwards, also sustained serious injuries at 8:22 a.m. Saturday in a Benton County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, The crash occurred as Rash was turning west on U.S. Highway 65 from westbound Barnum and pulled into Eierman’s path.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, Eierman was transported by a MU Air ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia. Rash was transported by Life Flight Eagle to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. 

Two from Windsor hurt in Henry accident

Brittany M. Mills, 31, of Windsor, sustained minor injuries, and Lance G. La Rose, 34, of Windsor, also sustained minor injuries at 9:10 p.m. Saturday in a Henry County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Mills was traveling East on Missouri State Highway 52 and struck a deer on a 2006 Harley-Davidson.

Mills was wearing a helmet, La Rose was not. Both were transported by ambulance to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. 

Clinton woman killed in Johnson accident

Carol M. Dixon, 31, of Clinton, was killed at 6:08 a.m. Friday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Dixon was driving north on state Route SW 1200 at Missouri State Highway 13 when she attempted to pass another vehicle and swerved to avoid oncoming traffic. She had a blown tire and traveled off the roadway, striking several objects, overturning, and hitting a utility pole.

Dixon was pronounced dead at the scene by Corner Clerk holdren and was transported to Sweeney-Phillips Holdren Funeral Home and Clinton. She was wearing a seat belt. 

Warrensburg woman injured in Johnson accident

Sandralee R. Coles, 48, of Warrensburg, sustained moderate injuries at 3:14 p.m. Saturday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Lacey O. Stagner, 18, of Warrensburg, east on state Route DD at state Route SE 581 Rd turned into the path of Coles’ 2018 Ford Focus.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, Coles was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by Johnson County Ambulance District. 

Holden man killed in Johnson motorcycle accident

Eric M. Thomason, 23, of Holden, was killed at 4:37 p.m. Saturday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 1993 Chevrolet truck driven by Christopher B. Daneil, 43, of Lone Jack, attempted to make a left turn, failed to yield, and struck Thomason's 2005 Harley-Davidson headed north on State Route W head-on.

Thomas was pronounced dead by Dr. Clinton Gates at Centerpoint Medical Center where he had been transported by Life Flight. He was not wearing a helmet.

Holden boy hurt in Johnson ATV accident

A 13-year-old Holden male received minor injuries at 2 p.m. Sunday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the boy was doing donuts on a 2009 Polaris Sportsman ATV at the intersection of state Route SW 1171 and state Route SW 375 when he overturned.

He was not wearing a helmet and was taken to Western Missouri medical center in Warrensburg.

Two injured in Morgan accident

Darlene K. Ouderkirk, 70, of Versailles, sustained serious injuries, and Kenneth A. Beeman, 33, of Stover, sustained moderate injuries at 2:50 p.m. Friday in a Morgan County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Ouderkirk was driving a 2005 Ford Freestar when she attempted to make a left turn onto state Route C from Missouri State Highway 52 and turned into the path of a 2010 Nissan Xterra driven by Beeman. 

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, Beeman was transported by private conveyance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach. Ouderkirk was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital. 

Warrensburg man in serious condition after Morgan motorcycle accident 

Sagan P. Guillory, 25, of Warrensburg, sustained serious injuries at 1 p.m. Sunday in a Morgan County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report Guillory was driving a 2017 Harley-Davidson south on state Route W south of Marvin Cutoff when he failed to negotiate a curve, went off the right side of the roadway, overturned, and was ejected.

He was wearing a helmet and was transported to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by ambulance.

Rocky Mount woman hurt in Pettis accident

Julie A. Hacker, 50, of Rocky Mount, sustained minor injuries at 1:40 p.m. Saturday in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Hacker was driving north on Missouri State Highway 127 just south of state Route Y in a 2000 Ford F-150 Ford truck when she went off the right side of the road, overcorrected, went off the left side of the road, and overturned. She was wearing a seat belt, and was transported to Western Missouri medical center in Warrensburg by Pettis County ambulance District.
