April D. Chambers, 42, of Warsaw, Lori A. McManus, 59, of Columbia, and Thomas C. McManus, 59, of Columbia, all sustained moderate injuries at 8:50 p.m. Tuesday in a Benton County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, an eastbound 2008 Honda driven by Thomas McManus failed to yield and traveled into the path of a 2003 Chevrolet driven south on U.S. Highway 65 at Route T.
Everyone was wearing a seat belt and was transported by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
David S. Patton, 52, of Kansas City, sustained minor injuries at 6:40 a.m. Tuesday in a Henry County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Chevrolet driven east on state Route 7 by Raymond J. McIntosh, 23, of Pleasant Hill, merged into the path of a 2014 Peterbilt driven by Patton. Both vehicles traveled off the roadway, with the Peterbilt striking an embankment and rolling over the Chevrolet before coming to rest on a fence.
Patton was wearing a seat belt and was transported by Golden Valley ambulance to Belton Regional Hospital. McIntosh was not wearing a seat belt.
Melissa K. Jennings, 34, of Slater, suffered serious injuries, and Richard M. Fizer, 54, of Slater, suffered moderate injuries at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday in a Saline County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2018 Nissan Sentra driven by Jennings south on Route O at 320th Road traveled into the path of a northbound Dodge 3500 flatbed truck while attempting to negotiate a curve, resulting in a head-on collision.
It is unknown if either driver was wearing a seat belt. Jennings was transported by Slater Ambulance District to University Hospital in Columbia and Fizer was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
