Warrensburg woman receives minor injuries in Johnson crash

Tracy M. Harvey, 57, of Warrensburg, received minor injuries at 9:20 a.m. Friday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Tamara L. Karel, 48, of Warrensburg, was driving north on Route 13 in a 2007 Mercury Mountaineer when Tracy M. Harvey, also driving north, in a 2011 Nissan Rogue began to slow and was rear-ended. 

Both drivers were wearing a seat belt. Harvey was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. 

Three from Knob Noster hurt in Johnson accident

A female infant received minor injuries, Christian Antho A. Cruz, 28, received minor injuries, and Paula L. Cruz, 28, received moderate injuries at 5:53 p.m. Thursday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Christian Cruz was driving east on U.S. 50 in a black 2013 Honda Civic when the vehicle began to hydroplane, traveled off the left side of the roadway into the median, and overturned. 

Everyone in the vehicle, all of Knob Noster, was wearing a seat belt, and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Two men from Barnett hurt in Morgan accident

Michael E Smith, 37, and Howard K. Long, 60, both of Barnett, both received minor injuries at 6:25 p.m. Thursday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Smith was driving a 1996 Chevrolet Silverado north on Route 5 north of Montana Road when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Neither man was wearing a seat belt. Smith refused medical treatment. Long was transported by Lake West Ambulance District to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach. 

Warsaw woman injured in Pettis accident

Lae’loni M. Johnson, 21, of Warsaw, received moderate injuries at 10:43 p.m. Thursday in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Johnson was driving north on Randall Road near Gentry Road in a 2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer when she swerved to avoid a deer, causing the vehicle to slide off the left side of the road into a ditch.

She was transported by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center. She was not wearing a seat belt.
