Lincoln man in serious condition after motorcycle accident

Sebastian T. Madson, 31, of Lincoln, sustained serious injuries at 10:40 p.m. Thursday in a Benton County crash.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Madson was driving a 2005 Kawasaki ZX10R Ninja east on Route C when he struck a deer in the roadway.

Madson was wearing a helmet and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District.

Kingsville man in serious condition after Johnson County accident

Charles V. Locasio, 36, of Kingsville, sustained serious injuries at 6:13 p.m. Thursday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Locasio was driving a 1997 Saturn SL2 south on Route W when he crossed the centerline, traveled off the left side of the roadway, and struck two mailboxes and a tree before overturning.

Locascio was not wearing a seat belt and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence.

He was arrested for driving while intoxicated - alcohol, failure to maintain insurance, careless and imprudent driving involving a crash, failure to register a motor vehicle, and no seat belt. He was released for medical care.
