KC man seriously injured in Benton boating accident
Jeremy S. Twilligar, 47, of Kansas City, received serious injuries at 2:30 Sunday in a Truman Lake boating accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Cherylene S. Twilligar, 47, of Kansas City, was increasing speed, causing the boat anchor to become airborne and strike Jeremy Twilligar.
He was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton. He was wearing a life vest.
Warrensburg man drowns on Lake of the Ozarks
Kegri C. Ilu, 32, of Warrensburg, drowned on Darby Hollow Cove on the Osage arm of Lake of the Ozarks at 11:16 p.m. Sunday in Camden County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Ilu was walking on the dock and slipped and fell into the water.
Ilu was pronounced dead by Camden County Medical Examiner Crystal Lloyd.
Lincoln man injured in Benton accident
Chris Toalson, 62, of Lincoln, received moderate injuries at 4:50 p.m. Friday in a Benton County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2019 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Toalson south on U.S. 65 turned into the path of a 2012 Toyota Prius driven by John Grant, 79, of Lincoln.
Toalson, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
Two injured in Benton County motorcycle accident
Kenneth S. Martin, 38, of Gravois Mills, received moderate injuries and Rachel M. Albert, 48, of Versailles received minor injuries at 12:01 a.m. Saturday in a Benton County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Martin was driving north on Route W on a 2005 Harley-Davidson when he struck a deer and overturned.
Albert refused treatment at the scene and Martin was transported by Cole Camp Ambulance District to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton. Neither motorcyclist was wearing a helmet.
Warsaw teen killed in Benton accident
Anthony J Birdsong, 18, of Warsaw, was killed and a 17-year-old male, also of Warsaw, received moderate injuries at 3:20 a.m. Sunday in a Benton County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Saturn Vue driven by the 17-year-old male north on Jackson Road traveled off the left side of the road, through a private driveway, and collided with a parked fifth wheel camper.
The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene by Corner Weston Miller. He was not wearing a seat belt. The juvenile male was also not wearing a seat belt and was driven to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
Three hurt in Johnson accident
A 12-year-old male from Kansas City received minor injuries, Mariah D. Givens, 22, of Blue Springs, received moderate injuries and Devynn M. Brooks, 40, of Kansas City, received minor injuries at 6:54 p.m. Sunday in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2018 Kia Rio was turning from West Young Street onto eastbound U.S. 50 when it crossed into the path of a 2015 Volkswagen driven by Givens.
All three occupants were wearing a seat belt. The juvenile male and Brooks were driven to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by Johnson County Ambulance District. Givens refused medical treatment at the scene.
Holts Summit man hurt in Moniteau motorcycle accident
Dale R. Reinkemeyer, 61, of Holts Summit, received minor injuries at 4:18 p.m. Saturday in a Moniteau County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Reinkemeyer was driving north on Route V near Ponderosa Road on a 2008 Harley Davidson when he traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.
He was transported by ambulance to St. Mary's Health Hospital in Jefferson City. He was wearing a helmet.
Sweet Springs man killed in Saline four-wheeler accident
Cody Dierking, 22, of Sweet Springs, was killed at 9:04 p.m. Friday in a Saline County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Dierking was westbound on Route T at Anchor Drive in a 2008 Yamaha four-wheeler when he traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a utility pole.
Dierking was pronounced dead at the scene by Saline County Coroner William W. Harlow.
Blue Springs man hurt in Saline County accident
Riley D Burris, 18, of Blue Springs, received moderate injuries at 2:20 a.m. Monday in a Saline County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Burris was driving west on I-70 in a 2008 Dodge Avenger when he lost control, left the roadway, and overturned.
He was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence by Sweet Springs Ambulance District.
