18-year-old killed in Henry motorcycle accident

Lileeann G. Willis, 18, of Lowry City, was killed; Dalton D. Allison, 24, of Lowry City, sustained serious injuries; and Trayvon N. Thurman, 20, of Raymore, sustained moderate injuries at 3:27 p.m. Wednesday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Thurman was driving a 2023 Nissan Altima west on Highway 13 and turned into the path of a southbound 2000 Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by Allison.

Willis was wearing a helmet and was transported to Golden Valley Hospital in Clinton by Golden Valley ambulance. She was pronounced dead by Dr. James Alford.

Allison was not wearing a helmet and was flown to Research Medical Center in Kansas City. Thurman was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Golden Valley Hospital in Clinton by Citizen Memorial ambulance, then flown to St. Luke's Plaza in Kansas City.

Stover driver hurt in Moniteau County rollover

John P. Brenenstuhl, 55, of Stover, suffered minor injuries at 6:03 a.m. Thursday in a Moniteau County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Brenenstuhl was driving a 2015 Honda Fit north on Route C when he fell asleep, causing the vehicle to travel off the right edge of the roadway, hit a ditch and overturn.

Brenenstuhl was wearing a seat belt and was transported to St. Mary's Hospital by private vehicle.

KC truck driver in serious condition after Saline accident

Benjamin Byumunga, 26, Kansas City, suffered serious injuries at 5:20 a.m. Thursday in a Saline County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Byumunga was driving a 2021 Peterbilt 579 west on I-70 when he traveled off the roadway and over-corrected, causing the vehicle to overturn, coming to a rest on its top.

Byumunga was wearing a seat belt and was transported to University Hospital in Columbia by MU Life Flight.
