Sedalia man hurt when mirrors meet in Johnson accident

Gregory Keele, 40, of Sedalia, suffered minor injuries at 2 p.m. Thursday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Keele was driving a 2021 Ford P700 south on Highway 23 when another vehicle got too close and their mirrors struck each other.

Keele was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by private vehicle.

Warrensburg woman injured in Johnson County accident

Marjorie K. Murrell, 58, of Warrensburg, suffered moderate injuries at 5:45 p.m. Thursday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Murrell was driving a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe east on U.S. Highway 50 when a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado driven by James M. Sulzen, 41, of Lone Jack, turned into eastbound 50 from 1971 Road and was struck by Murrell's Hyundai.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Murrell was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Monroe City man injured in Johnson accident

Kelson L. Painter, 20, of Monroe City suffered moderate injuries at 1:45 a.m. Friday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Painter was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Impala north on Highway 13 when he traveled off the roadway and overturned.

Painter was wearing a seat belt and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
