Centerview woman hurt in Johnson County accident

Linda S. Hensley-Shauffler, 75, of Centerview, suffered minor injuries at 5:30 p.m. Monday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, she was driving a 2008 Jeep Renegade east on U.S. Highway 50 and was slowing to turn when a 2017 Peterbilt driven by Christopher D. Green, 47, of La Monte, attempted to brake and struck the back of her vehicle.

Green was wearing a seat belt, but Hensley-Shauffler was not and she was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by Johnson County Ambulance District.

Montgomery City woman hurt when hit by pursuit suspect

Melissa Brumagin, 52, of Montgomery City, suffered minor injuries at 5:55 p.m. Friday in a Moniteau County Accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Brumagin was stopped in traffic on Boonslick Road in a 2013 Toyota Venza when she was hit by a 2006 Ford Fusion driven by Michael A. Chase, 31, of Independence, who was being pursued by Montgomery County Sheriff's Office deputies. He immediately fled the scene.

Brumagin was wearing a seat belt and was transported to St. Joe West by Montgomery County EMS.
