Woman injured in Johnson crash
A Dixon woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 8:38 a.m. Wednesday in Johnson County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Cristo A. Gomez, 20, of Oak Grove, was driving east on state Route 2, east of Southwest 271 Road, when he stopped over a hillcrest and was struck in the rear by another eastbound vehicle driven by Helen M. Winters, 85.
Winters, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by the Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg with minor injuries.
Windsor man hurt in Pettis crash
A Windsor man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in Pettis County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Cole N. Dove, 24, was driving south on state Route 127, north of state Route Y, when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, struck a culvert and overturned.
Dove, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by the Pettis County Ambulance District to Research Medical Center in Kansas City with minor injuries.
