Blairstown man injured in Henry County accident

Anthony L. Stoneking, 62, of Blairstown, suffered moderate injuries at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28 in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Stoneking was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer south on state Route O when he ran off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, went off the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.

Stoneking was not wearing a seat belt, and was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City by Life Flight.

Clinton woman hurt in Henry County crash

Stephanie R. Saxton, 42, of Clinton, suffered minor injuries at 7:45 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 31 in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Virgil J. Clark, 26, of Clinton was driving a 2005 Pontiac G6 south on state Route U, south of state Highway 7, when he left the roadway and struck a pole.

Saxton was not wearing a seat belt, and was transported to Golden Valley Hospital in Clinton by EMS.

Stover man hurt in Morgan County accident

Austin A. Black, 20, of Stover suffered minor injuries at 6:20 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 31 in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Black was driving a 2013 Ford F-150 north on State Route J when he swerved to miss a deer, traveled off the left side of the road and struck a tree.

Black was wearing a seat belt, and was transported by a Mid-MO Ambulance District to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.

Concordia woman killed, boy in serious condition after Saline County crash

Katherine E. Peroni-Searles, 30, of Concordia, was killed and a 7-year-old boy from Concordia suffered serious injuries at 12:10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29 in a Saline County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Peroni-Searles was driving a 2012 GMC Acadia north on U.S. Highway 65 when she failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment and was ejected.

The 12-year-old male passenger was wearing a seat belt, it is unknown if Peroni-Searles was. She was pronounced dead on scene by Saline County Deputy D. Taylor and was released to the Saline County Coroner. The juvenile male was transported by Life Flight Eagle to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.
