Butler man hurt in Henry County accident

Michael N. Ruff, 56, of Butler, suffered minor injuries at 10 a.m. Tuesday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Ruff was driving a 2008 Toyota Highlander west on Route H when he lost control on the wet roadway and traveled off the left side of the road. His vehicle then struck a ditch and fence.

It is unknown if Ruff was wearing a seat belt. He was transported by Ellett Memorial EMS to Bates County Memorial Hospital.

Independence woman hurt in Saline County accident

Zoe R. Mason, 23, of Independence, suffered minor injuries at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday in a Saline County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Mason was driving a 2017 Jeep Compass west on I-70 when the vehicle slid off the roadway and struck the guardrail.

Mason was wearing a seat belt and was transported by Saline County Ambulance District to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
