Versailles man crashes into tree
A Versailles man is in serious condition after crashing his vehicle at 3:25 a.m. Tuesday.
Christian J. Whittle, 21, was northbound on Old Route 5 in Morgan County when he traveled off the left side of the roadway at Victor Road, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report. He struck a tree and overturned.
Whittle suffered serious injuries in the crash. It is unknown whether he was wearing a seat belt. An ambulance took him to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
