Lincoln woman injured in Pettis accident

Braylee M. Holmes, 18, of Lincoln, sustained moderate injuries at 12:03 a.m. Saturday in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Holmes was in a 2001 Chrysler Sebring driven west on Route M by Jazmyn L. Marimon, 18, of Cole Camp, who pulled into the path of a 2016 Subaru Impreza driven by Luis-Gabriel N. Charvet, 29, of Omaha, Nebraska, and was hit.

Holmes was not wearing a seat belt and was transported by the Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Warsaw motorcyclist in serious condition after Benton accident

Paul W. White, 75, of Warsaw, sustained serious injuries at 1:10 p.m. Saturday in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, White was driving a 1999 Harley-Davidson Electra Drive west on state Route BB and failed to negotiate a left-hand curve. He left the roadway, struck a MoDOT sign and was ejected.

White was not wearing a helmet and was transported to University Hospital in Columbia by MU 2 helicopter.

Sedalia man killed in St. Charles accident

A Sedalia man was killed in an accident at 12:13 a.m. Sunday, July 9 in St. Charles County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Daymon O. Wray, 34, was driving a 2020 Chevrolet Traverse west on I-70 east of Lake St. Louis when he stopped in the roadway and started to exit the vehicle. Jonathan M. Kyser, 22, of Wentzville, who was driving west in a 2019 Dodge Challenger, slowed and went left to avoid Wray’s vehicle. The front right of Kyser’s vehicle struck Wray and then the front left of Wray’s vehicle.

Wray was pronounced dead at the scene by St. Charles County paramedic staff.

Warsaw man killed in Pettis County pedestrian hit-and-run

Ethan K. Dylan, 22, of Warsaw, was killed at 12:50 a.m. Monday in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Dylan was struck while in the roadway of U.S. Highway 50, west of Sadie Lane, by an unknown male driver.

Dylan was pronounced dead on scene by PCAD paramedic Ethan Hooser and transported to the Pettis County Coroner's Office.

Johnson County accident kills Buckner motorcyclist

Zachariah T. Hamilton, 23, of Buckner, was killed and George T. Schultz, 52, of Chilhowee, sustained minor injuries at 5:15 a.m. Monday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Hamilton was driving a 2023 Kawasaki KLR 650 south on state Route 131. He crossed the centerline and struck an oncoming 2015 Nissan Versa driven by Schultz.

Neither driver was wearing a safety device. Hamilton was transported to Belton Regional Medical Center and pronounced dead by Dr. Montwani. Schultz was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
