A 10-year-old boy and Amanda A. Pycke, 36, both of Slater, suffered minor injuries, and Eugene E. Fizer, 47, also of Slater, suffered moderate injuries at 8 a.m. Tuesday in a Saline County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Fizer west on Route 240 east of Primrose Avenue crossed the center line and struck a 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor driven east by Pycke.
Fizer was not wearing a seat belt and was transported by private vehicle to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall. The other injured occupants were using a seat belt and were transported by a private vehicle to University Hospital in Columbia.
