Clinton trucker hurt in Henry County accident

Mitchell H. Dalsing, 53, of Clinton, suffered minor injuries at 4:25 a.m. Thursday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Dalsing was driving a 2020 Kenworth south on state Route 13 just north of the Deepwater bridge when he lost control during severe weather and high winds. The rig struck the concrete bridge barrier and overturned.

Mitchell was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton by Golden Valley ambulance.

Holden woman hurt in Johnson County collision

Joan M. Lerda, 68, of Holden, suffered minor injuries at 8:08 a.m. Thursday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado driven east on state Route 58 by Crystal A. Shulte-Houx, 42, of Holden, struck the driver’s side of Lerda’s northbound vehicle.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Lerda was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
