Two injured in Benton accident
Two people were injured in a Benton County vehicle accident at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Tara C. Baker, 31, was driving south on Duran Creek Road south of state Route H when her vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree and a fence.
Baker, who was not wearing a seat belt, received minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene. An occupant in her vehicle, Benjamin M. Atwood, 31, of Lincoln, was also not wearing a safety device and received moderate injuries. Atwood was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Warsaw/Lincoln Ambulance District.
Warsaw woman hurt in Benton crash
A Warsaw woman received moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident in Benton County at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Judith I. Huskisson, 74, was driving eastbound on Route Z at Bent Tree Drive when a 2013 Ford F-150 driven by Timothy P. McLaughlin, 51, of Deepwater crossed the centerline and struck her 2000 Dodge Dakota.
Huskisson, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital by Warsaw/Lincoln Ambulance District.
