Olathe man injured in Henry County accident

Frederick L. Sierks, 50, of Olathe, Kansas, suffered moderate injuries at 10:30 p.m. Saturday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Sierks was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu north on Route B, north of Northwest 900 Road, when he left the roadway and his vehicle struck a culvert and an embankment. He returned to the road and and his vehicle hit another embankment.

Sierks was reportedly wearing his seat belt and was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton by ambulance.

Sierks was charged with driving while intoxicated and no valid operator’s license.

Woman seriously injured in Johnson County wreck

Haley A. Hopper, 23, of Stover, suffered serious injuries and Melissa A. Alston, 48, of Knob Noster, suffered minor injuries at 11:41 p.m. Saturday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Alston was driving a 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer north on Marr Drive when he traveled off the roadway and the vehicle struck a culvert. Hopper, an occupant in the vehicle, was ejected.

Alston was wearing a seat belt and refused treatment. Hopper was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City by ambulance.

Alston was arrested for felony driving while intoxicated, no insurance, and failure to drive on the right-half of the roadway.

Warrensburg woman hurt in Johnson accident

Remey M. Charon, 32, of Warrensburg, suffered minor injuries at 1:35 a.m. Saturday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Charon was driving a 2018 Subaru Forester north on Southeast 201 Road when she left the roadway and her vehicle struck a sign and overturned.

Charon was wearing a seat belt and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center by private vehicle.

Charon was arrested for driving while intoxicated, driving with a revoked license, and failure to drive on the right-half of the roadway.

Pleasant Hill teen seriously injured in ATV accident

A 16-year-old boy from Kingsville suffered minor injuries and a 16-year-old girl from Pleasant Hill suffered serious injuries at 7 p.m. Saturday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred as a 2021 Polaris Ranger driven by a 17-year-old boy west on Southwest 75 Road was turning around at the intersection of Southwest 1501 and overturned.

Everyone was wearing a seat belt. The 16-year-old boy refused medical treatment. The 16-year-old girl was transported to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City by Johnson County Ambulance District.

California woman hurt in Moniteau County crash

Bethany B. Miller, 23, of California, suffered minor injuries at 5:02 p.m. Friday in a Moniteau County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2010 Ford Escape driven north on state Route 87 by Tiffany A. Needy, 35, of California, struck the rear of Miller's 2021 Chevrolet Equinox.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Miller was transported to Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City by Mid-MO Ambulance District.

Eldon man seriously injured in Morgan County motorcycle accident

Rickey G. Webb, 59, of Eldon, was seriously injured at 9:38 p.m. Sunday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Webb was driving a 2005 Harley-Davidson south on Route T near Coon Club Road when he crossed the roadway, traveled off the left edge of the road, and the motorcycle struck a ditch.

Webb was not wearing a helmet and was transported by MU Air to University Hospital in Columbia.

Marshall teen injured in Saline rollover

Heaven M. Amos, 18, of Marshall, suffered moderate injuries at 1:15 a.m. Sunday in a Saline County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Amos was driving a 2012 Dodge Avenger south on Route D at Knapsack Drive when she left the roadway and her vehicle struck a ditch and overturned.

It is unknown if Amos was wearing a seat belt. She was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall by Saline County Ambulance District.

Amos was arrested for driving while intoxicated and driving in a careless and imprudent manner resulting in a crash.
